SCHMIT + ASSOCIATES
Dave Schmit has spent his career creating places that engage people. He leverages decades of expertise in commercial and residential development to curate walkable communities that support experiential placemaking. Schmit + Associates specializes in town-centered mixed-use projects in and around metropolitan Atlanta.
Having led some of the nation’s largest residential home building companies through dynamic growth, Dave has a reputation for sophisticated models in design, delivery and customer service.
He is an active member of his own community in Roswell, GA where he currently serves on the board for Roswell Economic Development & Tourism. He served as chairman of the city’s Comprehensive Plan, is a past president of Roswell Rotary, and past vice-chair of Habitat North Georgia. A longtime baseball coach, Dave volunteers with L.E.A.D., an inner-city sports-based program that empowers young black leaders to live a life of significance.
Dave earned BS and MS degrees in Construction Management at the University of Florida’s Rinker School of Construction Management where he is also a past board member and annual guest lecturer to graduating seniors, sharing his views on ethics and operations in the development industry.

KINGLETT HOMES
Greg Shiflett is Co-Founder and Partner of Kinglett Homes. Greg has had a 35-year career in the homebuilding industry and been a part of constructing over 3,500 homes in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Prior to founding Kinglett Homes, he worked for 20 years at Atlanta-based Monte Hewett Homes where he served as Chief Operating Officer. His team was awarded the Development of Excellence Award in 2007 for Westside Village, and Greg was also an integral part of the development of Avalon, named Community of the Year in 2017.
Greg graduated from Shorter University and began his homebuilding career with Ridgeway Development Company where he became Vice President of Construction. He also served as Vice President of Construction at Roberts Properties and subsequently Highland Homes. Greg resides in Atlanta with his wife Anne and three children.

LEW OLIVER, INC
Lew Oliver is an Atlanta-based urbanist, master planner and designer with years of experience in advancing New Urbanism and residential design. Lew’s master plans are designed with each community’s values, local vernacular and climate in mind. He focuses on the pedestrian experience holding the physiological and psychological wellness of residents as paramount while considering how to enrich the landscape. Understanding the needs for building connectivity, preserving nature, and social viability are the concepts around which Lew has been designing for two decades.
Lew has curated a versatile, yet exclusive, design collection and is celebrated for extraordinary attention to form, detail and proportion in his beautiful and innovative designs. He has been instrumental in the design and development of Trilith in Fayetteville, GA; Downtown Woodstock, GA; Serenbe in Chattahoochee Hills, GA; Vickery in Cumming, GA; Rosemary Beach, FL; Celebration, FL and more. His work has been recognized with numerous awards including as platinum winner of the 2021 NAHB “Community of the Year” for Trilith, platinum winner of the 2021 NAHB “On the Board Community” and 2021 CNU Charter Award in the “Neighborhood, District and Corridor” category as well as Best in America Living Awards for Best On-the-Boards Community 2020, Atlanta Magazine’s Atlanta Groundbreakers, Congress for New Urbanism Charter Awards and more.

GARDEN DESIGNER + CONSERVATIONIST
P. Allen Smith, often described as one of America’s most talented garden designers, is the product of five generations of southern nurserymen. Allen identifies and sensitively accentuates the natural gifts of the landscape, imparting balance, harmony, and beauty in the classic tradition resulting in timeless gardens and landscapes. His designs are an expression of lifestyle and legacy, allowing for a myriad of inclusions from ornamented aviaries, sheep pastures and walled gardens to fruit orchards, herb gardens, pollinator fields, apiaries and more. Often heard as describing his approach as “blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor”, Allen partners with architects and interior designers to marry the aesthetic benefits of the natural world both from the garden environment and behind glass.
To date, Allen is the author of six best-selling books and the host and producer of one of PBS’s most successful and award-winning television shows. He is a regular contributor on the Today Show and Good Morning America. His work has been featured in the New York Times, The Washington Post, Architectural Digest, People Magazine, Southern Living and over 100 additional titles. Alen is deeply passionate about preservation and conservation and is a trustee of Winterthur House, a certified fellow of the Royal Horticultural Society, a life member of the Livestock Conservancy and Society for the Preservation of Poultry Antiquities. He is also a TEDx speaker and founder of the Heritage Poultry Conservancy.

Steve Rowe is Vice President and Principal of AEC, Inc. leading the firm’s land planning and landscape architecture teams as both project manager and designer. His extensive experience includes master planning, land planning, site design development and engineering, hardscape and landscape architecture and water feature design. Steve’s work focuses on achieving balance between aesthetic appeal and technically functional design.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia and is certified by the Congress of New Urbanism. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, the Urban Land Institute and a former member of the Board of Governors for the Design Build Institute of America’s Southeast Chapter

Atlanta Fine Homes
Anne Schwall has led the developer services division for Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty since 2009 and has successfully managed more that $3 billion in residential real estate listings. Anne began her specialization in new construction home sales in 2004 and has led successful sell-outs of a variety of landmark Atlanta projects including The Sovereign, The Aberdeen, Seventh Midtown and Avalon. Her extensive experience and depth of industry knowledge have made her an invaluable resource in overseeing projects from conception to completion.
Prior to her work at Atlanta Fine Homes, Anne served as Vice President of Sales for a prominent real estate development company in Atlanta where she managed marketing and sales for all of the firm’s Atlanta condo projects and also spend time in onsite sales. She is recognized as an industry leader and reliable resource for market reporting for sources like The Atlanta Business Chronicle. Anne was recognized as a Top 20 Producer by the Atlanta REALTORS® Association in 2006 and 2007 with more than $20 million in sales. Anne earned a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt and a master’s degree from Emory University and Georgia State University.

As principal of CBD, LLC, she brings over 20 years of experience in economic development and commercial real estate. Highlighting the uniqueness of what the community has to offer, Chitra is focused on creating a brand that is reflective of the community’s attributes and spirit, building on a sense of civic pride and belonging. Her understanding of the local and regional market has brought key connections for successful projects. The vision for Harmony is an outgrowth of the City of Auburn’s own vision to expand and revitalize its downtown through a thoughtful, intentional placemaking process driven by the Mayor, City Council and Downtown Development Authority working together with city residents and businesses. Focused on creating a new downtown center and restoring pedestrian vibrancy to the downtown district, the city’s new town center incorporates a lively mix of commercial, recreational, civic and residential uses including a landmark new City Hall. Auburn was honored as a 2021 Visionary City by the Georgia Municipal Association and Georgia Trend magazine.
